Benefit Plans

 

 

Clicking on the Benefit Setup icon displays the Benefits - Setup [Plan] page.  

 

 

 

After making your Division Selection, a list of Current Plans is displayed at the bottom of the page for reference purposes.

Current Plans

When you select a Plan, it remains the default selection when navigating to the other setup tabs (until you return to the main Plan tab and select another plan).

Edit Plan

To edit an existing plan, click in the plan row to display the Plan details and make your changes. Click to undo any changes.

Delete Plan

Prior to deleting a Plan:

To delete a plan, click in the plan row. The system will request confirmation.

Add Plan

Note

Plan Types must exist before adding a new plan, or the system displays an appropriate message.  (Plan Types are specified in the Benefit Tables tab.)

 

Enter the Plan No in the related text box. This can be your company's internal reference number for the plan.

 

 

 

Enter the Plan Name in the related text box.

 

Select the Plan Type from the drop-down box.  (The selections available are specified in the Benefit Tables tab.)

 

Select the Plan Status from the drop-down box.

 

 

 

Enter the Carrier Group Number (provided by the Carrier) in the related text box.

 

 

If your Company has more than one Federal EIN, select the appropriate EIN from the drop-down box.

 

Select the Ded No from the drop-down box.  (The selections available are specified in the Company Deduction Master in the Vault Application.)

 

Select Sync Deduction to EE Contribution if

 

Select Include on Statement if the plan should appear on the Benefits Statement.

 

 

Select COBRA Eligible if employees are eligible for plan coverage after leaving the company.

.

 

Select Include for Open Enrollment if enrollment in the plan is limited to a specific open enrollment period.

 

 

Select COBRA Portable if, after leaving the company, employees can pay the plan premiums directly to the carrier.

 

Enter the plan's Start date or select it from the pop-up calendar (default=current date).

 

Enter the plan's End date (if any) or select it from the pop-up calendar.

 

If desired, enter a Description of the plan and related comments, if any.

 

Click to erase any entries.  

Click to store the new plan.

 

The system automatically populates the Created/Modified fields with the applicable user and date.
